The title (roughly) translates as the Westphalian Highway – an important trading route across the German region of Westphalia in the Middle Ages. This is a trading game where players buy and sell goods across the towns of Westphalia, establishing trading routes along the roads.
The routes are very necessary as only certain towns will be buying goods each round, but poor roads mean players may lose some of their wagons if they do ship goods. Hence, there's a tricky balance to achieve, particularly as it's the player with the most money who wins.
The game has basic, 'family' rules and advanced rules for experts/gamers. Either way, it's a typically clever game from Michael Schacht.
For 2-4 players, aged 10+, playing time 45 minutes: £25.00 (£20.83 without tax outside the EU)
