Fishing (Fischen)

2024's little card game from Herr Friese is a simple trick-taking card game. Well, it starts simple anyway: deal a hand each, follow suit (colour), high card wins the trick, then score points for the cards in the tricks you won. However, the cards you've won are then your hand for the next round, drawing new cards from the main deck if necessary.

The additional cards coming into the game bring extra twists: end of trick actions, for example, or trump cards that win tricks. It still points for cards won at the end of each hand, but those hands get more complicated each time. Oh, it's clever stuff!

Note: this is the English/German edition published by Friedemann's imprint, 2F Spiele, and has the German title on the front of the box.
