This turn's races
MEDITRAINEAN stayed just enough ahead to win. INLAND IRONHORSE INTERNATIONAL, in his first game, scored almost as many and was a very good second, while CANTERBURY RAILWAYS had a poor selection of runs and finished third. ALL GREEK TO ME pulled out a very good last turn to cheer him up by finishing last.

GM Notes
In Turn 9 CR's total was 10 points short and in Turn 11 race 26 CR got 10-2 rather than the 5-2 reported. This affects his running total which was therefore 260 and not 245 as reported. Thanks for pointing it out, Anthony. Mea Culpa.

My first ever game of Railway Rivals and being in contention at the end was all I could ask for. I didn't get towards the eastern central part of the map - I think a branch line in Kythera or Nicosia from the north coast would have got me into a couple more races. But learned for next time! [Look forward to seeing you.]
Canterbury Railways (CR), Rob Pinkerton - Blue: 3rd
I really loved this map, the combination of mountains, the narrow passes and the coastal plains made a great game! [I did wonder if it might be a little crowded but it seems to have worked out quite well.]
All Greek To Me (AGTM), Mike Dyer - Black: 4th
There is not too much to be said. Poor lines, bad dice, tough players... whingeing, whining and moaning. But I have high hopes for the last turn and, if I can cross the 200 point bar [achieved], then I will be declaring a win and doing a little dance. Thanks, Mike!
