Scout

This is an ingenious " ladder-climbing" game of making sets or runs from the cards in your hand. However, you can only play your cards if they beat those already on the table (capturing those cards to score at the end of the hand).

Or you can take a card off the table ('scouting') and add it to your hand. This potentially makes it easier to beat what's on the table and rewards the original player with a point.

The really clever bit is that the cards are double-ended and you can invert your hand to give completely different options. Brilliant!
