Heckmeck Deluxe
This is a brilliantly simple – and brilliant – little game from Reiner Knizia with the entertaining theme of birds barbecuing worms. It comprises a set of chunky numbered tiles – rather like Mah Jongg tiles in size and composition – and a set of dice. Players roll the dice, aiming to get the score (and worms) needed to take a tile – from those available or from another player.
Once all the tiles have gone, players tot up their scores (in worms!) to find the winner. It's fast, furious and fun.
The 'de luxe' edition comes in a chunky tin and contains both the original Heckmeck am Bratwurmeck game and the Extrawurm expansion (which I also stock separately). Alternatively, Heckmeck Mini is a mini version of the original in a pocket-sized tin.
For 2-7 players, aged 8+, playing time 30 minutes: £25.00 (£20.83 outside the UK)

Heckmeck (am Bratwurmeck)
This is the original version of this brilliantly simple little game from Reiner Knizia (also published as Pickomino). It comprises a set of chunky numbered tiles – rather like Mah Jongg tiles in size and composition – and a set of dice. Players roll the dice, aiming to get the score needed to take a tile – from those available or from another player.
Once all the tiles have gone, players tot up their scores to find the winner. It's fast, furious and fun.
This is the multi-lingual edition from the original publisher. I also have the expansion, Heckmeck Extrawurm, and the new Deluxe
edition. Alternatively, Heckmeck Mini is a mini version in a pocket-sized tin.
For 2-7 players, aged 8+, playing time 20 minutes: £15.00 (£12.50 outside the UK)

Heckmeck Extrawurm
There are quite a few things in this expansion. First, of course, is the extra worm. Or worms, since there are two new worm tiles, numbered 11 and 13. Then there are victory point chips. The major addition, however, is a set of worm pawns. These start on specific worm tiles and are taken with the tile (but can be lost again). Each of them provides a special power to the owning player, adding a further dimension to the game.
For 2-7 players (with base game), aged 8+, playing time 20 minutes: £14.00 (£11.67 outside the UK)

Heckmeck Mini
This version of the game comes in a pocket-sized tin, but includes all the elements of the original – just much smaller. It's really handy and just as much fun.
For 2-7 players, aged 8+, playing time 20 minutes: £5.50 (£4.58 outside the UK)
