Points Arising for October 1677

Players' deadline for November 1677 is 7th August 2026

As I informed players, I made a couple of mistakes last time: using the wrong orders for GdB and missing out some of HdB’s. I re-adjudicated manually, corrected the online report and tables and sent the players revised character sheets. Again, my apologies to Anthony Gilbert and Eric Henderson.

A little reminder that the name of your host is the crucial thing when Toadying (or “attending a party”). You don’t need to specify the venue (which may change if the host joins a new club at the start of the month).

A small tweak to the play-writing rules I published last time: I’ll roll the dice for the success of the play at the start – giving me ammunition for writing the report – but won’t publish it until it’s time for the appropriate rewards.

Justin Thyme’s insult to Maurice Danseur in the press is deemed sufficient to cause a duel between them (though this is already happening) and between Justin and Maurice’s colleagues and friends (House rule 13.9).
